How to treat pertussis with homeopathy

Pertussis or whooping cough as it is commonly known is an upper respiratory infection. It is an extremely infectious bacterial disease caused by the Bordetella pertussis or Bordetella parapertussis bacteria, causing irrepressible, violent coughing, usually making it hard to breathe. A deep "whooping" sound is often heard when the patient tries to take a breath. It is a serious disease that can cause permanent disability in infants, and even death. When an infected person sneezes or coughs, tiny droplets containing the bacteria move through the air, and the disease is easily spread from person to person. The infection usually lasts 6 weeks.

Whooping cough is everywhere; the vaccine has been a miserable failure in the sense of eradication or prevention. On the other side the benefits of Homeopathy are manifold; no side effects can be given over a long duration of time. Especially for a case such like pertussis, these medical attributes are critical.
